There are three types of parameters on the drive. Configurable parameters can only be adjusted while the drive is stopped. Tunable parameters can be adjusted while the drive is running or while the drive is stopped. Finally, read only parameters cannot be adjusted at all. The parameter number is the unique number assigned to a specific parameter. The number is preceded by either P, H, U, or r to identify it as a General, Volts/Hertz, Vector, or optional RMI parameter, respectively. The parameter number is displayed on the drive’s keypad/display. The default parameter setting is the setting that the drive comes installed with from the factory.
