The 45C963 device is a 5-27 VDC output module which was made by Reliance Electric to be included in the Shark XL product family. The 45C963 output module is no longer being made by Reliance Electric; however, AX Control may have this product in stock despite that. There are two other 5-27 VDC output modules other than the 45C963 output module. All three of these modules are all very similar in its specifications, although there are slight differences between them. These other two output modules possess the following module numbers: 45C962 and 45C964. The 45C963 output module has sixteen channels that are available for use. The output voltage is at a range of 5 through 27 VDC and the nominal voltage for this module is 24 VDC. This product uses common terminal polarity and the opto-isolator isolation method. The maximum current for leakage for this product is only 0.1 mA while the maximum current at inrush is 3 A. There are two commons on this device, for a total of eight output points per common terminal. For each common, there is a single fuse for a total of two fuses for the whole module, which are SOC fuses that are rated at 250 V and 8 A.
