The 45C914 device is a rack that was made for the Shark XL series, which is a series that is mainly comprised of I/O modules and processor modules by Reliance Electric. Even though this device is no longer being made by the OEM, we here at AX Control make an effort to supply this product for our customers. The 45C914 rack was created to be one of many racks in the Shark XL series. This particular rack can hold a total of six main Shark XL modules, but there are others that range from three slots to nine slots. We have listings for all of these racks on our website, so be sure to explore these options to make sure you are making the best choice for your facility. Most of the time, it is best to get a rack that is equivalent to the amount of Shark XL modules that you possess rather than getting something too small or too large.

As stated above, the 45C914 rack was made so that it could hold seven I/O and processor modules. There is also one more slot that is meant to hold a power module. You can connect another rack to the 45C914 rack by using the expansion rack connector on the side of the device.

For installation purposes, there are two small mounting holes at the top of the 45C914 rack. Using these holes, you can insert M4 or #8 screws and mount the 45C914 rack onto a panel that is able to hold it and the modules inside of it. You can also use an optional DIN mounting adapter for installation.
