The K-600 auxiliary contact kit was one of the many different types of auxiliary contact kits that Reliance Electric produced. Although Reliance Electric had many different auxiliary contact kits in production, they all became obsolete after a short time. Today, they can be difficult to locate, but AX Control possibly has the K-600 auxiliary contact kit and other versions available in stock today. You can call or email us to find out if it we have it in stock and to see the condition that it is in, which could be used but reconditioned or brand new from the surplus stock we have access to.
The K-600 auxiliary contact kit is interchangeable with the 64412-R model and can be used with any and all modifications of the following: 64402, 64403, 64404, 64407, and 64408. The left side of the K-600 auxiliary contact kit has an N.C. contact and the right side has an N.O. contact.
The Reliance Electric auxiliary contacts all can be inserted easily into a Reliance Electric motor starter. Simply keep the motor starter still and in one position and firmly place the auxiliary contact kit into place, which will be clearly indicated on each side of the motor starter. It is not necessary to have any tools for this installation. A total of four auxiliary contact kits can be inserted to a single motor starter at a time. However, you can add four additional auxiliary contact kits on top of the four original ones if you happen to have the side mounting kit accessory that Reliance Electric once offered.
