The K-254 is a Contactor Kit created by Reliance Electric. This kit was retired by the manufacturers and is no longer available to be purchased through them. AX Control does offer this kit, however, as a refurbished or surplus stock part. The K-254 could’ve been produced under the manufacturing names ASEA BROWN BOVERI or Reliance Electric depending on when it was actually manufactured.
The K-254 is a 1 Pole N.O. 30Amp Relay Contact Kit. This kit is meant to be a replacement for the contact sections on a relay. This kit has a flat contact, a spring, and two multi-angled brackets. These pieces are made of conductive metal to allow proper energy flow through a closed relay. The relay then will use an electric circuit to affect other devices that are attached.
