86485-6S Reliance Control Operator Station Reversing Start/Stop
The 86485-6S is a Reliance Electric Control Operator Station (Reversing) with Start/stop capabilities, typically used in MaxPak Plus drive systems. This part is sometimes sold under the manufacturing names ABB/Asea Brown Boveri or Baldor-Reliance. It is typically available through AX Control as new liquidated stock and as a reconditioned surplus item that has gone through an extensive refurbishment process completed by our in-house technicians.
The 86485-6S is designed with easy-to-connect terminal blocks that have been numbered for simple identification. The station is NEMA 1 rated is simple to mount. It is UL Listed. The front panel offers a single large rotary dial and two toggle switches. All switches are labeled and easy to read. The controller is used to provide voltage armature power to a DC motor via phase controlled rectification of 3-phase power. It includes start, stop and speed selection. The unit typically allows the motor to coast to rest.
