Product Description

86475-10S Assembly Stack Rectifier

The 86475-10S is a Rectifier Assembly made by Reliance Electric.  This is used within Reliance Electric drive systems.  It is occasionally marketed under the manufacturing names of Baldor-Reliance and Asea Brown Boveri. 

The 86475-10S is designed from a box capacitor and a small circuit board with only a few components ( two resistors, diodes, and header connectors) mounted to the top of two large heat sink towers.  There are additional components like MOVs (metal oxide varistors) mounted between the two heat sinks, and wires that connect these components to the circuit board or the capacitor.  The heat sinks are bolted together with an air gap between them.  One heat sink has a flat edge while the other has a curved flange with two factory-made drill holes to allow the unit to be mounted in place.
