86466-75R  Heat Sink Power Assembly Module

The 86466-75R is an Upper A-C Heat Sink Assembly used in 150 HP, 200 HP, and 250 HP controllers for Reliance variable torque A-C VS drives.   Three assemblies are needed per controller.   The 86466-75R is sometimes marketed as a Baldor-Reliance or ABB component. 

The 86466-75R is a large heat sink assembly with a small circuit board attached to the top of one side.  It is approximately ten inches tall by six inches wide.   This circuit board (51378-32) is attached to the heat sink via two screw mounts through the body of the board.  The card is populated by a single transformer, by two transistors, along with terminal pins, diodes, capacitors, and resistors.  The terminal pins are designed to accept a jumper wire that originates elsewhere on the unit.   More components are mounted within the hollow area of the base of the unit.  Many of these connect via screw mounts to the carrier at the base of the heat sink.
