Product Description

The 86466-59S part number represents a Reliance Electric Rectifier Stack assembly.  This is only one of many rectifier stacks from Reliance available from our inventory.   This component was sold originally from Reliance, but may also be listed under Asea Brown Boveri or Baldor-Reliance replacement parts.   While you can no longer purchase this component from the OEM, we typically have it ready to ship from our warehouse within hours. 

The 86466-59S is typically used as part of Reliance’s MaxPak Plus series.  Rectifiers like the 86466-59S are used to convert incoming AC power to more easily used DC power that flows in a single direction.   In a full-wave bridge configuration, most units will use three rectifier stacks that each have two thyristors attached.   Typically, this unit uses 410403-60AW thyristors.

The 86466-59S is designed as a metal internal carrier assembly with thyristors attached.  Outside these thyristors, the unit has metal heat sink components and a lower assembly mounted below these.  Above each side panel, there is a 0-51378-19 circuit board mounted that wires to the internal thyristor.  Each board includes a transformer, a stab-on connector for wiring connections, and several resistors and diodes.
