The 86466-47S rectifier stack’s main goal is to convert AC power to DC power within a Reliance Electric drive system. By doing this, the power is much easier to control, since direct current power moves in a single direction unlike alternating current power.

The 86466-47S rectifier stack is made up of two symmetrical halves. The top of these halves contain the same circuit board, which is the 0-51378-25 gate coupling circuit board. This particular circuit board has a large transformer at the top of it. There are three resistors and a single capacitor surrounding that transformer. There is a small terminal block which has two ports. Each of these ports have a single wire connected to them that extend outward and connect to a port in the middle of the 86466-47S rectifier stack. There is also a small male plug located on the circuit board’s surface.
