85014-R Rectifier Stack
The 85014-R is a Reliance Electric rectifier component. This part is used in various drives or auxiliary systems from Reliance. This component is available from AX Control as both a rebuilt surplus part and as never-used liquidated surplus. We are also happy to quote the cost to repair your component. The 85014-R was marketed under company names Baldor-Reliance and Asea Brown Boveri.
The 85014-R is a flat, vertical rectifier composed of four serpentine heat sinks placed in parallel and bolted together across their upper surfaces by two crossbars. The four heat sinks and the crossbars are all numbered, one through six. There is a significant air gap between each of the heat sinks.
Other components used on the 85014-R include carbon composite resistors, SCR diodes, and surface wires with terminal loops that connect to screws or bolts located across the surface of the rectifier. The unit also has a right-angled molded plastic bracket attached by two screws to the center of the left and right edges of the rectifier. These brackets serve as connector points for mounting as well as stabilizing feet.
