Product Description

805401-1S Power Module Rack 4 slot 1.25 A 115 VAC 50/60 Hz 

The 805401-1S is a Reliance Electric Power Module.  This unit is most often used as part of the AutoMax DPS system, which is used as real-time control of AC and DC drives.   This module is no longer actively manufactured.  It was released at various times under manufacturing names such as Baldor-Reliance, Reliance, and ABB (Asea Brown Boveri.) 

The 805401-1S is a 4-slot Power Module.  This system is rated as having a 115 VAC input, 1.25 A, 50/60 Hz.  I/O is 115 VAC, 2 Amps.   The 4-slot power module includes four sections.  This includes a 0-60007-3 Power module, a 0-60021-4 PMI processor, a 0-60031-6 resolver and Drive I/O, and a 0-60002-6 DC Power Technology Module.  Each of these boards is connected to the rack system and locked in place using set screws located at the top and bottom of their front faceplates.  The power supply module provides the necessary power for proper operation to all other module boards.  The PMI processor controls communication.  The resolver and drive module is used to convert analog feedback signals into a digital format that can be easily used by the connected application program.  The DC Power technology module digitizes field power module signals and armature signals for use in various algorithms.    Each of these boards has an individual listing on our website if you are interested in learning about its internal components or specifications. 

The external casing/housing of the  805401-1S includes a powered fan to drive air through the module and over internal components.  The opposite side of the unit is open grillwork to allow for airflow.  The bottom of the unit is built with a flat flange that has been drilled with two screw mounts to allow for mounting of the unit.
