The 803456-8RA is a Reliance Electric is a 16-slot panel mount card rack for the AutoMax distributed control system. This component was sold through Reliance Electric under the company name as well as under manufacturing names Baldor-Reliance and Asea Brown Boveri. It is no longer manufactured.
The 803456-8RA features custom card guides, high-capacity cooling fans, AC line filters, and a cable management tray. It is used as a Master Rack and also as the remote I/O chassis. The unit is CE marked and UL listed. This rack also allows mounting of a power supply module. High capacity fans (2) to allow for proper cooling are mounted on the bottom surface of the rack system.
