The 78098-50E module is an Auxiliary Contact that was created and manufactured by Reliance Electric. The 78098-50E module has since been discontinued by the original manufacturer, meaning that they no longer support this product or offer it new. However, be sure to contact AX Control to see if we have it in stock. We may have the 78098-50E module in refurbished condition or in brand new condition.
The 78098-50E module has power capabilities of 600 V maximum AC and requires that any wiring connected to it have the exact same polarity, as indicated by the writing on the front of the device.
The 78098-50E module is an optional device that possibly can be installed into the Joslyn Clark HP Motor Starters. Please check your machine's documentation before ordering. These auxiliary contacts are very easy to install, have a clear side cover, and the contacts are positive driven from the main contact carrier. A single auxiliary contact can be attached to each side of the starter, which allows up to four contacts per starter. However, a total of eight auxiliary contacts can be added to it if a side mounting kit is installed. The auxiliary contacts do not require any tools to be installed.
All of the auxiliary contacts can be outfitted with either N.C., N.O. or N.C. and N.O. auxiliary contact blocks. Every single contactor has the ability to be supplied with up to four auxiliary contact blocks. Additionally, there are kits available for field installation.
