The 76624-X is a NO (normally open) contact assembly. The unit weighs approximately 0.09 pounds before the addition of external or internal boxing. This is a 10 amp series 447 relay that is designed for either AC or DC circuits. N.O contacts do not conduct electricity until the contacts are closed together. This completes the circuit and allows electricity to flow.
The 76624-X is designed to connect to and work with most Reliance Electric motor starters. When installing this unit, please be sure your work environment is free of dust, debris, or oil. The unit is not designed for use within locations where gases are present. These may damage or interfere with processes occurring in the LP assembly. The 76624-X will require approximately one-half inch for installation. Please be sure you have adequate space required for the addition of this part.
