The 76624-1W module is an auxiliary contact assembly block that Reliance Electric created and produced. Reliance Electric has discontinued the 76624-1W auxiliary contact, which makes it an obsolete product and therefore difficult to obtain. AX Control, however, may have it in stock as either a used product or as a brand new product from our access to surplus stock. The Reliance Electric auxiliary contacts, which includes the 76624-1W auxiliary contact, can be installed in numerous Reliance Electric machines, such as their motor starters. For installation into a motor starter, hold the motor starter securely in one place and insert the 76624-1W auxiliary contact into the applicable slot that will be clearly marked. A Reliance Electric motor starter can hold a total of four auxiliary contacts; however, a side mounting kit may be included to increase this number by four for a total of eight auxiliary contacts at one time.
When you are ready to install the 76624-1W auxiliary contact, be sure that the environment is safe for it. It should never be exposed to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. The area should be clean, meaning that it has no debris or dust present. To avoid corrosion and therefore possible irreparable damage to the 76624-1W auxiliary contact, be sure to keep it away from any chemicals that could produce gases that are harmful to the device. Any mishandling of the 76624-1W auxiliary contact can cause it to be damaged and/or to not operate properly or at all.
