Product Description

705315-002R Reliance SCR Assembly Stack 

The 705315-002R is a Reliance Electric rectifier component distributed for use within the company’s drives.  This component can be purchased from AX Control as a new, never-used unit from liquidated stock or as a reconditioned unit that has been tested and approved by our in-house technicians.  Reliance components typically were also marketed under alternate company names of Baldor-Reliance and Asea Brown Boveri. 

The 705315-002R is designed from a central vertical metal carrier that acts as a support for the heat sink components on either side. These are bolted to the central carrier across a short air gap that allows space for the mounting of SCR diodes and metal oxide varistors (MOVs) within the central part of the unit.  These components connect via red and white braided wires to the two small circuit board components mounted on the top of each heat sink.  These circuit boards have components like resistors, diodes, terminal pins, and a transformer mounted to their surfaces.  

The bottom of the 705315-002R extends into a hollow metal base.  This base has additional components mounted within it, including capacitors and Dale power resistors.
