The 69390-53R is an SCR Rectifier module from Reliance Electric. Silicon controlled rectifier units like this one are typically used to furnish unidirectional current or to control voltage output in one polarity or the other.
The 69390-53R is designed as four heat sinks mounted together on one carrier with SCR diodes sandwiched between pairs of the heat sink components. Heat sinks like these are typically made from aluminum or some other material that will easily transmit heat produced inside the SCR to the surrounding air. This allows for convection cooling to occur. A metal plate runs from the carrier at the bottom of the 69390-53R to the top where two SCR bridge components are mounted.
The 69390-53R uses surface mounted wiring to transmit signals from the top of the module to parts located on the bottom carrier. The SCR modules are bolted to the frame through the heat sink components.
