The 604580-1R is an Air Flow Sensing Switch this switch is rated as 115VAC and has 9 connector pins. This sensor is meant to go on a MaxPak Plus DC variable speed drive system. It has an NC contact configuration. It also has an Air Flow Speed of 250 linear feet per minute. Only one of these is needed per drive. This type of airflow sensor allows the user to know that there is an airflow present in a device. It then gives a signal to shut down the device with the airflow drops below a certain level. It does all of this by sensing what temperature it is. If it rises in temperature, that would indicate that the airflow around the sensor has reduced. When the normal levels of airflow are restored, the sensor will cool and will automatically reset itself.
