The 14C204 extension kit is installed at the place of the blank faceplate 14C200, located at the bottom left corner of the cabinet door. After removal of the blank faceplate, make sure to cut a little opening at the top and bottom face of the rubber circuit breaker boot (located at the top of the faceplate) after cleaning the surface around it with some alcohol. The 2 wire harnesses can then be installed in place of the cover cut-out. Push the faceplate into place with the wire harnesses in place and check for proper seating. An Operator’s Control station is necessary to allow for further control of the Three Phase MinPak Plus. If installed with an Operator’s Station Faceplate, the MinPak Plus Controller keeps the NEMA Type 12 rating. A bag of 8 hex nuts already come supplied with the standard blank faceplate, so there is no need to get more installation equipment or options.
The Reliance Electric Part Number 14C201 Operator’s Control Station is a modification kit used with the MinPak Plus Controller. The features that come together that can be found on the 14C204 faceplate is a start/stop function, a POWER ON/OFF circuit breaker, a forward/reverse selector, and an automatic/manual selector. The 14C204 Control Station has all the features available on a basic faceplate, with the addition of an armature-reversing selector and the ability to change the mode of operation to either manual or automatic.
