Product Description

The Reliance Electric Part Number 14C202 is an extension to the MinPak Plus Controller and functions as a control station. Depending on the modification kit chosen, the kits will have different features. On the faceplate of the 14C202, there will be a forward/reverse selector, a start/stop function, a speed setting pot, and a run/jog selector. The 14C202 Operator’s Control Station has all the basic features, plus the addition of an armature-reversing function. However, this unit does not have a torque setting pot or an automatic/manual selector.

To ensure proper operation of the Three Phase MinPak Plus, it is crucial to use an Operator’s Control Station. When appropriately installed with an Operator’s Station Faceplate, the Controller will keep the NEMA Type 12 rating. A bag of 8 hex nuts come with the faceplates, so it is not a requirement to obtain extra equipment or options.

The MinPak Plus Controller has an area to install the 14C202 modification kit located at the bottom left corner (the corner that has the standard blank faceplate 14C200). When mounting the Operator’s Control Station 14C202 on the MinPak Plus Controller, make sure to clean the area around the circuit breaker boot with alcohol before cutting a slit at the top and bottom section of the rubber circuit breaker boot to install the 2 wire harnesses through the cut-out made for the wires. Push the faceplate into place and make sure it aligns correctly with the wires, which are in place of the wire cut-out. Reattach and tighten the 8 hex screw nuts that were removed when uninstalling the standard faceplate.
