6MDBN-2P3102 is a 200-240 VAC 3-phase input, 0-230 V 3-phase output MD65 drive that is manufactured by Reliance Electric. The user may need to troubleshoot faults on the drive. These faults are indicated by fault codes that begin with F. F38-F40 are the phase to ground fault, which means that there is a fault between the motor and the drive. To correct this fault, check for a grounded phase on the motor and check the motor and the drive wiring. If the fault cannot be cleared, the user must replace the drive. The phases that may fault in this case are U, V, and W. F41-F43 are the phase to phase shorts, which means that an excessive current has been detected between two output terminals. To correct this fault, check for a shorted condition on the motor and drive output terminal. If the fault cannot be cleared, the user must replace the drive. F48 is the params defaulted fault, which means that the drive was commanded to write default values to EEPROM. To correct this fault, cycle power to the drive and program the drive parameters as needed. F63 is the SW OverCurrent fault, which means that the programmed SW Current Trip (A098) has been exceeded. To correct this fault, check the load requirements and the SW Current Trip (A098) setting. F64 is the drive overload fault, which means that the drive rating was 150% for 1 minute or 200% for 3 seconds. To correct this fault, extend the acceleration time or reduce the drive load.
