Product Description

6MDAN-5P0112 is a 200-240 VAC 1-phase input, 0-230 V 3-phase output MD65 drive that is manufactured by Reliance Electric. This drive outputs 0.75 kW (1.0 HP) and 5.0 amps. The input voltage range is 180-265, the input kVA is 2.45, and the input amps are 12.0. The branch circuit protection is 20 for the fuses and 20 for the circuit breaker. The power dissipation is 55 watts. Ground the drive, the motor, and the RFI filter. Power wire the drive after the cover is removed. The available power must match the AC input power ratings for the drive.

A number of input power conditions may damage the drive and must be corrected. If there is low line impedance that is less than 1% of the line reactance, if the supply transformer is greater than 120 KVA, if the line has power factor correction capacitors, if the line has frequent power interruptions, or if the line has intermittent noise spikes that exceed 6000V (lightning strike), install either an isolation transformer or a line reactor. If phase-to-ground voltage exceeds 125% of the normal line-to line voltage, of if the distribution system is ungrounded, remove the MOV jumper to ground and install an isolation transformer with a grounded secondary, if necessary. For frame B, the maximum wire size is 5.3 mm2 (10 AWG), the minimum wire size 1.3 mm2 (16 AWG), and the torque is 1.7-2.2 Nm (16-19 in-lb). For frame C, the maximum wire size is 8.4 mm2 (8 AWG), the minimum wire size is 1.3 mm2 (16 AWG), and the torque is 2.9-3.7 Nm (26-33 in-lb).
