The 5RC054 is a Kit Sequencing Cable created by Reliance Electric. This product may have also been mass-produced and sold by ASEA BROWN BOVERI and Baldor Reliance. The sequencing cable is a controller to terminal board cable. It was issued as a part of the HR500 series and was meant for brushless servo motor controllers. This kit comes with a controller cable, a terminal board and a sequencing cable.
This 5RC054 is a 5-foot CN1 sequencing connector with a horsepower of ⅛-1. The encoder cable normally paired with the 5RC054 is the 5-foot CN2, 5RC053, although other length options are available if needed.
The 5RC054 was created to go with an HR500 Series High-Performance Drive. It connects a terminal board which is used to secure two or more wires together, grounding them and the controller. The controller or motion controller is used to close the power on a system by receiving the signal coming from the encoder and applying torque to the motor to control it.
