The 5RA0100 Reliance Electric brushless drives is part of the HR500 series of high performance drives. This AC drive, along with the varying controller models in this series, are able to be customized by both parameter and hardware modifications to function efficiently in a variety of servo applications.
The HR500 drive series and specific drives such as the 5RA0100 are part of a automation family which includes the drives (also called controllers) along with the servo motors and application specific encoders which collectively allow for accurate speed and position regulation.
The 5RA0100 features a number of easily accessible diagnostic LEDs that pertain to the status of the controller in the application.
