The BLA-12 module was created to be an AC Brushless Servo Controller by Reliance Electric. It was made to be a part of the HR2000 series of drives and similar products. The BLA-12 servo controller is compatible with the HR2000 motor models B18H1070 and B90H1035. These motors have different flange mounting types, but the rest of the parameters are the exact same. The horsepower of these motors is 3, the continuous torque rating is 94.5 lbs., the base speed is 2000 RPM, and the inertia is rated at 0.031 lb. in s^2.
Please be aware that the BLA-12 servo controller also was also produced under the Reliance Electric name using the product number 3RA2003. The servo controller, however, is the same despite the fact that it may have a different product number than the one that is listed here.
The BLA-12 servo controller uses a chassis type enclosure and uses a 3-phase system. The AC input is set at 50/60 Hz and 200/220 VAC, while the AC output is rated at 0~100 Hz and 0~180/207 VAC.
Before you use the BLA-12 servo controller, you must ensure that you have it mounted to a UL type or NEMA enclosure. In addition to that, be sure to only use copper 60/75 degrees Celsius wires.
