When mounting the controllers, leave at least 1 inch between controllers, 2 inches between the controller and the enclosure side wall, and 4 inches between the top/bottom of the controller and non-heat producing equipment. Note that the regulator panel swings 90 degrees to the right. Mount the controller vertically to the enclosure mounting panel. After installing the controller, install the motor and a transformer (if needed). After the drive is installed, suppress the electrical noise with RC suppression devices such as Reliance Electric part number 600686-33A. Physically separate low level signal circuits from the wiring of the switching devices. Then, before wiring the controller, review the 2CN connector pin functions.
In order to wire the drive, check the input power requirements. An IET may occur if the input line voltage does not correspond to the power supply connections. Provide the appropriate grounding before making power wiring connections. In order to start and adjust the controller, gather the necessary test equipment and check the installation and the wiring. Then initialize the regulator and review the regulator jumpers and pots. The user may then start up the controller.
