HEC-GV3-P1
This unit is one of the many attachment boards available to be integrated into the GV3000 series of AC motor control drives. The AC motor controllers were designed and produced by Reliance Electric Limited, and were distributed by their electromechanical production division. However, this printed circuit board was developed as a Horner Electric unit.
The GV3000 drives from Reliance Electric are designed as controller units based on vector regulation, as well as general purpose V/Hz regulation for low-voltage motor devices. The HEC-GV3-P1 unit was built as a Horner Electric component part, able to be integrated successfully into the GV3000 internal workings.
The HEC-GV3-P1 is a DeviceNet Interface Option Board. This enables the GV3000 drive to be able to interface with a host of numerous industrial control products. It is able to be hooked up into the DeviceNet network, and it marks the GV3000 drive the HEC-GV3-P1 it installed into as a slave module on the network.
To properly insert the HEC-GV3-P1 into a GV3000 AC drive, make sure to install it below the unit’s regulator circuit board. Connect the two boards with a standard, flexible ribbon cable. There is a 5 pin screw terminal connector port to connect a DeviceNet system cable into the board.
