Product Description

Reliance Electric AC Power Drive GV3000E-AC106-AA-DBT-RFI is one of the many GV3000 drives. This specific GV3000 drive has two selectable regulator modes and thus has two different horsepower ratings. The two regulator modes are vector and Volts/Hertz (V/Hz). When the module is in vector mode, the horsepower rating is 60-75 HP. When the drive is in V/Hz mode, the horsepower rating is 100 HP. The enclosure rating on this model is NEMA 1, meaning that the enclosure on the module is rated for ventilation, is used in general-purpose indoor applications, and has a communication access door that allows access to the communication ports on the inside of the drive without having to remove the cover to reach the ports. 

As with all of the GV3000 drives, there are two sets of technical specifications, the inverter current, and the motor power. As with other GV3000 drives, the specifications depend on the regulator modes. For the GV3000E-AC106-AA-DBT-RFI module, the inverter current in V/Hz mode is 116 A, and in vector mode, 89 A. The motor powers of this drive also differ depending on the regulator mode, the power in vector mode is 45 A, and in V/Hz mode is 55 A. 

When most of the GV3000 drives have an RFI filter, they also have DC-bus terminals and a braking unit which is not the case for the GV3000E-AC106-AA-DBT-RFI drive. This drive only comes with the RFI filter and DC-bus terminals. The best features of this drive are the different horsepower ratings. If requiring a horsepower rating of 100 HP, this drive is an excellent choice, but it also operates on a lower horsepower rating of 60-75 HP.
