This module is one of the GV3000 motor controller units that were produced by Reliance Electric LTD. Reliance Electric is an industrial electromechanical manufacturer responsible for several other motor controllers, such as the FlexPak 3000 line, and the Liqui-Flo line.
This unit is designated as the GV3000AC070, and is an AC Power Drive that is able to control and manage motor units. This unit is a pulse width modulated drive, and is provided with a vector regulating capabilities. There are two settings; flux vector control, or FVC, and sensorless vector control. The FVC setting provides the unit to receive and accept encoder feedback, and the SVC setting is able to function without it.
The GV3000AC070, like the majority of the GV3000 drives, are outfitted with several components that are installed into the unit. This unit includes a fan module, which provides internal cooling, a keypad and bracket membrane switch, and a standard-issue regulator printed circuit board (PCB).
The GV3000AC070 is outfitted for a motor lead length of up to 76 meters in total, or 250 feet. The speed adjustment range goes from 0 RPM to the motor’s top speed. The speed regulation depends on which setting it is on; 0.01% on FVC, and 0.5% on SVC. The GV3000AC070 has a service factor of 1.0.
