The 896.14.91 is a Reliance Electric 50HP (vector) or 75HP (V/Hz) GV3000/SE Drive. ABB and Baldor Reliance may have also sold this drive under their manufacturing names at one point. This drive can also be found under the alternative part number 50T4150.
The 896.14.91 is in a very large NEMA 1 style chassis. It has circulation air vents on its sides and front. The built-in keypad is located just below the air vents on the front of the chassis. Slightly below and to the left of the keypad, is a slot where the operator can access an RS-232 serial port on the regulator card. On the bottom side of the chassis are two external fan assemblies that help to regulate airflow to the internal components of the drive. There is also an internal fan assembly in the chassis that helps to keep the air moving.
The keypad on the 896.14.91 has several components that are standard for the GV3000 series of drives. There is a display panel in the top left corner that shows the LED 7-segment 4-digit indicator located on the regulator. Just below that are 14 LED indicator lights. These are labeled speed, program, running, password, volts, reverse, remote, torque, amps, forward, jog, Kw, HZ, and auto. There is a start and stop/reverse button just below the LEDs on the left bottom corner of the keypad. On the right-hand side of the keypad are an enter key, a program key, a run/jog key, an auto/man key, a forward/reverse key, and two arrow keys.
