Bookshelf Drive 85ER4060 is one of the GV3000 drives produced by Reliance Electric out of the United States in Ohio. This bookshelf drive does not come with a CE filter, which is indicated by the ER in this part number. The current rating which is designated by the first two characters within the part number is 8.5 A. There are two model/stock numbers, the 85ER4060 is the U.S. model number with a European stock number of 896.05.11. The part breakdown of the European stock number is the drive model, power module size, terminals, and circuits. The 11 at the end of the European stock number indicates that there are DC bus terminals and a braking transistor circuit.

The components within this drive are a fan, output relay terminal strip, display/keypad which is on the front panel of the drive, a power printed circuit board (PCB), and regulator PCB. 

The regulator PCB on the 85ER4060 has several features that it can provide one of which is providing pulse width modulated (PWM) gating signals to the insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs) power devices. The regulator board will send the PWM gating signals through the current feedback signal section of the power board to the secluded gate drivers. These gate drivers will then switch the IGBTs and produce an appropriate PWM waveform that will correspond to the V/Hz regulation (frequency) or FVC regulation (speed) references.
