Product Description

The 807300-158R is a component from Reliance Electric that is part of the company’s GV3000 SE AC drive system.  Depending on the year purchased, the component you are replacing may originally have been sourced from Baldor-Reliance or Asea Brown Boveri due to company restructuring.  However, company name changes typically did not affect part numbers or compatibility.  Please check with your original manual to ensure compatibility. 

The 807300-158R is a phase module assembly.  It is one of several versions of this component available for the 200-400 HP drive.  AX Control tries to maintain on-hand stock of all versions.   The circuit board has a metal base that functions as both an installation base and as a heat sink to dissipate the build-up of component heat.  There is a short metal handle attached to one edge of this base.  The handle includes several shaped flanges with factory-made holes that will hold the unit in place after installation.   The module is designed to fit into the front of the GV3000 drive just below the regulator PCB. 

The 807300-158R has two lines of IGBTs (insulated gate bipolar transistors) that can be switched by other components on the board like the integrated gate driver.  This unit provides modulated phase voltages to the motor.   The board is built with capacitors and transformers as well as other board-mounted components.
