About the 75V4051
Greater Product Series Information
The 75v4051 is a 75 HP 460 VAC GV3000/SE Reliance Electric Drive. This drive may have also been sold by ABB or Baldor Reliance at one point during its production years. Given the fact that this 75V4051 product offering's entire Reliance Electric manufacturer went defunct in one of the many years beyond its original founding, it should not come as too much of a surprise to find that this 75V4051 device is also considered a legacy product series module.
Hardware Tips and Specifications
On the top of the chassis on the 75v4051 are DC bus voltage terminals. On the faceplate of the drive is:
- a flap that allows the user access to an RS-232 port and a user interface
- the user interface has a keypad and LED display panel
- 14 LED indicators
- a 7-segment 4-character LED
- 9 keys
- two large internal fan assemblies that force air through the internal components of the drive.
- brackets are on the top and bottom of the chassis that can be used to mount the drive to a flat surface
A user can gain access to the internal drive components of the 75v4051 that are located directly behind the user interface by unscrewing the three retaining screws on the regulator board cover and the two retaining screws on the terminal cover. There is a bracket on the back of the keypad that helps to secure the regulator board into place. Removing the regulator board cover and the terminal cover grants the user access to the terminal strip on the regulator and allows the user access to the RMI Board that is connected to the Regulator board using a ribbon connection. The RMI board also has a terminal start that can be accessed using the terminal cover.
