The GV3000 series is a line of AC Motor Control Drives, a product from Reliance Electric Limited. These drives were produced by their electromechanical division, but have since then been pulled out of production. Fortunately, here at AX Control Inc., our hardware and inventory of products is available as both unused surplus, and used yet reconditioned devices.
The GV3000 line of motor controllers are built to manage and monitor the parameters of a motor unit under its control. This includes the motor’s speed, torque, and direction, all able to be adjusted within an accurate and precise manner at the operator’s specifications. The GV3000 series has several operational methods, such as the general purpose scalar V/Hz mode, and the two vector based application modes. There is the FVC, or Flux Vector Control mode, which is able to process and accept encoded data signals, and then the SVC, or Sensorless Vector Control mode, which is unable to process encoded signals.
The 56947-25 is a component part of the GV3000 drive. It is built as a printed circuit board, and designed to operate as a Gate Driver board. The Gate Driver receives and processes the waveform signals from the Current Feedback board, which receives those signals from the drive’s regulator board. The 56947-25 then sends those signals to the integrated IGBTs, or insulated gate bipolar transistors.
