Product Description

The 50V4150 is a GV3000 Series Power Module. It was originally designed by Reliance Electric but could have also been mass-produced by Baldor Reliance and ABB. None of these companies offer any type of support for the 50V4150. It may be a little difficult to find but AX Control still tries to keep it in stock.

This drive is 50HP 380-460V with an input of 57.3 KVA. It has an input of 72 amps and output amps that are 8 kHz and 67 amps. It has a power loss of 1200 watts. This module has the ability to select either vector or V/Hz regulation.

The 50V4150 is protected by a NEMA 1 rated enclosure. This enclosure contains vents along its sides and has a small door on the front that can allow for access to an RS-232 serial connection port that goes to the regulator board.  This enclosure is only meant for inside applications. It should be mounted onto a panel or another flat metallic surface. This device should be kept away from corrosive or combustible materials. It is not considered to be dust or drip-tight so the area it is mounted to should be kept free from liquids or dust.

There are several important components that make up the 50V4150. These components include a keypad with attached bracket assembly, regulator board, power board, bus capacitors, gate driver board, power supply, a fan and internal fan assembly system, diode bridge, wire harness, and IGBT module. The regulator board connects to the built-in keypad using the wire bracket that is attached to it.
