This listing here is one of the many products that are designated within the GV3000 line of motor control products. This series consists of devices from both full motor controller AC Drives, to the printed circuit board components that operate the drive’s functionalities, to the option kits that this series features as additional capabilities. Overall, this series was developed, produced, and manufactured as a part of the Reliance Electric LTD division of electromechanical automation.
The standard GV3000 drive is a motor control module that is outfitted with a series of varying operational modes to alternate the method of control and parameter adjustment for industrial motors. These motors include basic units within fan modules or pump systems, or, advanced, complex web processing systems. The GV3000 series is outfitted to operate their drives with three varying modes of motor control. There is the general purpose mode, which utilizes a control over the voltage/frequency, and then the pair of vector control modes, Flux Vector Control and Sensorless Vector Control. The FVC is able to control motors as well as accept encoder data signals, while the SVC is unable to receive those signals.
This unit listed here is a control option kit, designated as the 3402R1C1 2LB3000 Option Kit. It enables the GV3000 drive to be able to interface with a 115 V/AC control option board. It offers an interface between several external motors and the drive it is installed into.
