About the 30B4160
This device is a part of the GV3000 modules that are outfitted and designed as motor control units, and are included with a series of printed circuit board components that regulate the unit and provide several necessary functionalities.
The GV3000 line of motor controllers is built with three total methods of control: the general-purpose, scalar frequency and voltage control, or the pair of vector control methods. The vector control modes are either Flux vector control or sensorless vector control. FVC is able to receive and render the data provided by the GV3000 drive’s encoder attachment, but the SVC mode is able to control the motor without it.
The 30B4160 unit is outfitted with a standard NEMA 1 graded protective case. This ensures that the drive is protected against any invasive elements that may be in the industrial workplace. Dust, excess water vapor, or oil mist would be able to enter into the internal space in the unit without the case. This would cause severe damage and corrosion to the unit and its components.
The 30B4160 unit is outfitted with an external keypad, as well as an external LED display.
