Product Description

The 2LB3000 is an Interface Module Face Card that was created for the GV3000 drive series. This card was possibly also sold in the ABB or Baldor Reliance product lines depending on its production dates.

The 2LB3000 is a 115VAC Control Option Board. This board can be installed into Reliance drives ranging from 1-400HP. This board has the ability to interface with a variety of external motor control hardware. This card has the ability to take the information coming in from these external sources and pass it to the regulator board on the drive. This board can be installed into Reliance drives ranging from 1-400HP.

When installing the 2LB3000 into the drive, it is important to remember to disconnect the drive from all power sources and wait for at least five minutes for the DC bus capacitors to discharge. Remove the support bracket from the heat sink but be careful not to completely remove the bracket from the drive because it is connected to the drive with different wires. The 2LB3000 attaches to the support bracket using the Control Option board support tabs. These tabs are slightly below and behind the regulator board. This board is secured to the bracket using the hardware provided with the card. Then you can remount the bracket and board to the heatsink. Once it is secured, you can then connect the control option board to the regulator using a 34-pin ribbon cable. The cable connects to the J3 connection slot on the regulator board.
