Product Description

Reliance Electric created the 20V4150 15KW 20HP drive as a part of the GV3000 series. This AC power module is version 5.0 of this series of drives and replacement products. It may have also been sold by ABB and/or Baldor Reliance. It has been deemed to be unsupportable by the original manufacturers, but AX Control might still have it in stock as a refurbished or new surplus part.

The 20V4150 is defined as a pulse-width-modulation drive. It was originally built to regulate and alter general-purpose and vector frequencies. This drive is confined in a NEMA 1 type enclosure. It is regulated for indoor usage and has air vents intended to promote airflow to internal circuitry.  This drive is 380-460 VAC, 20.2 KVA and 50/60Hz. It has a power loss of 600W.

The 20V4150 comes outfitted with several internal components that include a membrane switch, two fan modules, regulator printed circuit board, capacitors and a capacitor board, current feedback PCB, gate driver PCB, and a diode bridge. The keypad on this drive is connected to the regulator board using a cable that connects to a J9 port on the regulator. The regulator features a communications RS-232 serial port, a terminal strip that is used to connect user I/O, and jumpers that are for analog input and output. The regulator’s main function is to provide the microprocessors needed for drive regulation. This regulation can be altered and adjusted using the keypad. There is a total of two regulators on this drive. It is considered to be a low HP board. The only difference between a high and low HP board is the power feedback cable ports.
