About the 1V4460

Reliance Electric’s 1V4460 is a 1HP and 2.0KVA pulse-width modulated (PWM) drive. The drive is part of the GV3000 series, which offers vector and regulation for a large range of applications that require modifiable speed control of motors. The drive uses vector regulation to maintain motor torque to zero speed, precisely control motor speed in either direction, and provide high dynamic response. It accepts 2.5 input amps and provides 2.1 output amps at 2 kHz, 4 kHz, and 8 kHz. When the drive is at full load, it experiences a power loss of sixty watts. The drive is also equipped for harsh operating environments and can survive ambient humidity up to 95% non-condensing. The alternate part numbers are 896.00.70 and GV3000U-AC002-AF-DBT. The drive is equipped with:

• a liquid-crystal display
• a keypad
• LED indicators
• precise alarm codes which can be looked up in the software manual
• a mounting bracket that connects to the regulator PCB
• a 4X/12 NEMA type enclosure

This enclosure is not vented and comes with base and keypad gaskets. It is not meant for outdoor usage and comes dust and drip-tight. This enclosure meets both NEMA 4X and 12 ratings. With the enclosure, this drive weighs 6.3 kg and is 222.3 mm wide, 280.7 mm tall, and 200 mm thick. On the drive faceplate is a keypad. This keypad has several important functions including operating and programming the drive. The display on the keypad has a 7-segment, 4-character LED. This LED is in charge of indicating drive parameters and error codes.
