The GV3000 line of devices was constructed and manufactured as a part of the electromechanical production line of Reliance Electric Ltd. This series of products were built as one of the many sets of industrial motor controller units, as Reliance Electric is responsible for the development of several brands of motor control drives.

The GV3000 series is a lineup of motor control drives, designed for both simplistic and complex AC systems, from basic fan modules, to advanced, multi-tiered industrial web systems. These units are able to manage precise control over the speed, direction, and torque of a motor. These drives are outfitted to run with three operational modes: the general purpose Scalar voltage/frequency mode, and the two vector based operating modes; sensorless vector control, and flux vector control

The 180040-A01, listed here, is a component attachment of the GV3000 drive. It is a printed circuit board that is outfitted to operate as a Bus Control Card. It is able to process and input signals and data into the CPU module of the GV3000 it is integrated in.
