The 179153 card is assembled as a printed circuit board card, able to be mounted and installed within a Reliance Electric GV3000/SE drive. In order to properly mount and connect the 179153 ControlNet Communications card to a GV3000/SE Regulator drive, attach a ribbon cable to each connection port in both devices.

This unit is able to connect to the ControlNet network by redundant communication with a pair of BNC connector ports. There is also an RJ-45 connector port to access the nodes via a Network Access Port.

This unit comes equipped with a set of three LED lights, acting as indicator units for the status and activities of the unit.
