This device is available from our inventory of pre-owned, fully optimized secondhand products, as well as our inventory of unused, brand new industrial surplus. It is designated as a component part for the GV3000 line of devices. These units are motor control drives, built for the monitoring, management, and controlling of low-volt intake motors.
The GV3000 drives were outfitted to operate with several settings, most of them vector-based. There is the FVC and SVC methods: Flux vector control, and sensorless vector control. There is also the general purpose regulation, which is outfitted to regulate the frequency and voltage of the motor.
The 0-56960 is designated as a Gate Driver circuit board. These drivers are designed to accept the pulse width modulated gating signals that were sent from the GV3000’s regulator board. These signals are first transferred over to the current feedback board, which is then sent to the isolated driver attachment on the 0-56960. Once it receives those signals, this unit switches the Isolated Gate Bipolar Transistors (IGBTs), and produce a PWM waveform. The waveform corresponds to the speed or frequency, depending on the drive’s vector regulation setting.
The 0-56960 unit is able to switch the IGBTs to different carrier frequencies; 2, 4, or 8 kilohertz.
