This model is one of the several units in the GV3000 series, which was manufactured, developed, and produced by Reliance Electric Ltd. The GV3000 lineup was designed as a set of motor control devices, which are able to alter the vector frequency waveform in order to control the motor unit. These devices are built as ultra compact models, and able to handle the most rudimentary of control applications. They are able to easily handle simple devices, such as a pump, or a basic fan module. It is also outfitted to handle complex control applications, such as the control over a web processing system.
This unit is designated under the identification of 0-56949-20C. It is equipped with a standard array of Reliance GV3000 features. The basic control capabilities provided are pre-installed with three methods of control. They are all primarily vector based methods of control. The most basic of settings being a scalar general purpose setting, and the other two designated as the SVC (sensorless vector control) and FVC (flux vector control) methods.
This unit comes outfitted with a standard LED display, which provides information on the controlled motor to the 0-56949-20C’s operator, such as the motor’s intake and speed.
This unit is no longer available from Reliance Electric Ltd., as they pulled the GV3000 product line from their electromechanical production division.
