This unit is one of the many integral internal components for the GV3000 series of AC motor control drives. The GV3000 lineup of devices was designed, developed, and produced by the electromechanical branch of Reliance Electric Limited. The GV3000 drives were designed for vector regulation and voltage/frequency general purpose regulation, and are able to control the direction, speed, and torque percentage with its sharp accuracy rating.
This module is the 0-56936-101AA, a printed circuit board that is designed as an attachment module for the GV3000 drives. It is an AutoMax Network Communication Option board. It is outfitted to be connected to the AutoMax network and bring in the GV3000 drive as a slave drop point on the network. This is done via the Network Drop Cable connecting the drive to the passive tap.
The 0-56936-101AA is able to be connected to the GV3000 drive’s regulator board module, the device built to provide drive regulation with the built-in microprocessor. In order to connect the 0-56936-101AA AutoMax PBC to the regulator board, simply attach it to a connection port with a ribbon cable.
The 0-56936-101AA board is outfitted with a pair of connection terminals on the terminal strip. These connections allow for a twisted-pair network drop cable to be hooked up to the unit.
