These Reliance regulator boards are designed for general purpose vector applications as well as frequency regulation. The 0-56921-511AA is able to provide a dynamic response output and maintain the motor speed and torque at precise direction. The vector altering applications are enabled by either the sensorless vector control or the flux vector control capabilities.
In order to safely and properly remove the 0-56921-511AA regulator board from the GV3000 drive it is mounted into, make sure to follow these five steps.
Step 1: Disconnect the 0-56921-511AA board. Lock out, and tag the drive’s power source.
Step 2: Wait at least a total of five (5) minutes for the DC bus capacitors in order to discharge them.
Step 3: Remove the cover by loosening the four (4) screws keeping the cover attached.
Step 4: With a voltmeter, verify that there is no voltage in the drive’s AC input power terminals.
Step 5: Check the DC bus potential (the plus or minus terminals) of the drive with a voltmeter.
The 0-56921-511AA is static sensitive board when attached into the drive. When handling it, make sure there is an anti-static band on your wrist, as to prevent any bodily injury from occurring.
