Reliance Electric LTD. is the industrial manufacturer responsible for the production, development, and designing of their GV3000 line, a series of motor control devices and attachments, add-ons, and individual modules for these units. This unit is one of their GV3000 Regulator Boards, the 0-56921-502 model.
The 0-56921-502 is designed as a version 5.2 Regulator Board for the GV3000 AC motor control drives. The standard microprocessor-based design is how this unit appears, with the base capabilities of accepting power circuit feedback and speed reference signals. It is also able to accept data from an encoder attachment, while the GV3000 drive is set to run on Flux Vector Control.
The 0-56921-502 is equipped with a set of isolated gate bipolar transistors, an analog output, and both Form A and B contract points to indicate drive status. These contacts are formatted to accept 5 amps at either 250 V/AC or 30 V/DC.
