This device is one of the several GV3000 model products available from AX Control Inc. and our inventory of industrial automation hardware. The GV3000 series was developed as a line of AC motor control drives by Reliance Electric Limited, which is the electromechanical manufacturer behind several motor control units; the GV3000 line, the FlexPak 3000 line, and then the Liqui-Flo line.
This GV3000 unit is a Regulator Control Board, designated as the 0-56921-401 model. These regulator boards are outfitted with a standard microprocessor unit that operates the regulation for the drive. The parameters for the GV3000 motor control drive is entered and altered via the keypad attachment on the 0-56921-401.
The 0-56921-401 is designed to accept power circuit feedback signals, as well as accept an external speed reference signal. When the GV3000 motor control drive is set up for flux vector control (FVC) regulation, the 0-56921-401 board is able to accept the data from an encoder attachment module.
The standard regulator board functionalities that the 0-56921-401 is capable of includes sending the pulse-width modulated gating signals towards the IGBT modules, and is outfitted with numerous pieces of hardware, such as Form A and Form B contacts, an analog output, and a snubber resistor braking kit.
