Product Description

The 2GU21002 is a 2HP 3-Phase Reliance Electric produced drive.  Depending on what year it was produced, this drive could have also been offered by the Asea Brown Boveri or Baldor Reliance product lines. The 2GU21002 is not getting any type of support from these companies, but AX Control does attempt to keep this part in stock. Please check with our site for more information.

The 2GU21002 is a 230V 3.5 KVA 50/60HZ AC drive that is a part of the GP2000 series. This drive is enclosed in a NEMA 1 chassis and while it does have 3-phase input power, you do have the option to derate the output horsepower coming from the motor so that it can be classified as single-phase. If you do that you still need to use a typical 3-phase motor. Both of these options have their own input power ratings. The 3-phase input power ratings include a max input of 8.8 amps, a motor sine wave of 6.8 amps, and a maximum drive output of 7.5 amps. The single-phase input power ratings include 1 HP instead of 2, an input KVA of 2.1, maximum input of 9.1 maps, a motor sine wave of 4.1 max, and a maximum drive output of 4.5 amps.

The 2GU21002 has the capacity to be surface mounted. It has a capacity to use serial communications with an optional card. It has a regenerative voltage and current limit. It can reduce motor noise using full-spectrum switching. It has a short circuit fortification for the line-to-line or line-to-ground setting.
